About MeI live in Midtown Atlanta, GA and I travel a lot for work as a consultant in the energy industry with a focus on Oracle Utilities (LODESTAR). I am very passionate about my work, which allows me combine my skills of a geek with those of the business world. I think that some long hours are a fair consequence for having a job that you enjoy, especially throughout the downward spiral that the economy delved. I am usually allowed an extended weekend, which is great for those sunny days in Atlanta when you need to start an early Friday happy hour on a park patio, or by a pool. While I do not always have to be doing something, I prefer to not waste days with sloth; however even these deserve their own occurrences. I have only started traveling often, for leisure, in the past few years, but I love it and only want to do it more. I prefer locations that are rich in history and culture, and in fact mostly base future destinations on such. I was taken quickly to the addiction of travel and for various reasons, and I have decided to start this blog to keep…
Contact MeI want to give everyone my contact information while I am working over here. I have decided against getting a SIM card for my mobile telephone. This seemed impractical given the fact that I still had to check my voicemails for work and whatever other reasons. That said, PLEASE do not call/text my cell phone, either to talk to me or leave me a voicemail. It will cost me an absurd amount of money. If you feel the inclination to say hello, just send an email and I will respond either soon or when I can access the internet; the internet is tricky, but this place is far from third world. If there is an emergency, then either my mobile telephone or the hotel information below is best. Note that my hotel reservations are split up, so I will update the hotel room as I check in/out. The only reason for the change is that I am planning some weekend excursions.
